Alana De La Garza is a beautiful actress that has been leaving an imprint on the small screen. The parents of De La Garza were from Ireland and Mexico. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on December 26, 1976. Soon enough she was relocating to Texas in search of her career in physical therapy with the University of Texas. De La Garza did not keep her place in Texas for long. She soon moved in Orlando Florida, where she took on a number of roles as an actor including commercials and local film productions. Even though she had small role, De La Garza quickly realized her love for acting. In 2001, she moved into New York where her first character was on All My Children's morning soap opera as Rosa Santos. The actress had a few roles on JAG: Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men at the beginning of 2000. In 2004 she was selected as her first part of a series in The Mountain, a short-lived television drama. The character was Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate enough to be a part of a cast that included some of the best TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her most memorable character was on Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was in 85 episodes. The character from her Law & Order: LA spinoff was short lived. The particular character garnered De La Garza various nominations like Best Supporting Actress - Television through the Imagen Foundation Awards and even several ALMA Award noms. The National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded the Impact Award, which is an award for the best performances in the drama TV series. Then, a short time later De La Garza was cast for CSI Miami in a recurring role. She starred as Marisol Delko as the spouse of David Caruso's Horatio. Her most recent TV appearance was on NBC's somewhat more dark drama Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC following only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She has an Italian father as well as a younger brother Cory whom is 10 year younger than her. Her family was a relatively conservative and religious family. Milano started her acting career as a child when her nanny brought her along to an audition in the acting field. Milano was among four girls selected from among over 1,000 hopefuls. Milano appeared in advertisements on television and off-Broadway and in the American musical adaptation in the form of Jane Eyre.
